Hi Visitor,

My name is Hesther. Working with flowers has always fascinated me. As a child I was part of flower arrangement clubs in The Netherlands, where I was born. I took part in competitions where I have at times won, at the time, to my great surprise.

As I grew up my interest grew and I followed and completed Flower Retail and Business Education programs. I now live on Aruba and in 2006 I established my own company.

Flowers give me a lot of strength and energy. Every floral arrangement is a chance to translate the emotions and words of the one sending the flowers into the final piece, combining the elements of the arrangement to the flower; it’s shape, color and fragrance. I always feel honored to be able to become part of this process.

To provide you with the best and most beautiful arrangements I buy fresh flowers from all over the world 3 times a week. This is the extra challenge of being a florist on Aruba. I also use various craft materials to give every piece an extra flair, and I can also use unusual items inspired by the local flora, like cacti and local fruits.

At my flower atelier I have the freedom to work inside and outside, and draw inspiration from the people I am making the arrangement for, the nature around me and the beautiful local weather. In this way every time a new flower arrangement is born.
